Krabi Dream Homes combine time-honoured design with state-of-the-art technology. We are proud to be setting the standard for innovative and eco-friendly housing projects in the Krabi area. The task we set ourselves was to achieve an ecclectic union of classic Thai building principles with modern energy-saving features.
We care for our local (and global!) ecology, so with this in mind, we built three houses in Ban Chong Pli (4 km away from ao nang beach) that use simple but effective energy-saving ideas. The result is 3 attractive houses, that also make most economical use of resources. We named our houses: Baan mekala (goddess of rain), Baan Kinaree (a famous Thai mythical bird-woman), and Baan Nang Fa (an angel). These names are suitable for 3 beautiful houses, that also harmonise with their environment.
A key feature of our houses is the roof design. We conducted research into the most efficient design with respect to interior temperature. Our roof spaces are sealed, and the loft is higher than usual. This is a most effective way to keep the house interior as cool as possible.
In addition, our walls are double walls, 20 cm thick, with a space between. Again, this prevents heat from entering the house, and is excellent for maintaining a constant cooler temperature inside.
Solar panels have been in use for several years now, and we have installed the very latest technology. Pollution free storage of natural solar energy, which provides power for the water heating system.
Each house has rich tropical hardwood interiors (from sustainable forest ), and is tastefully furnished. The kitchens are fitted in European style to a very high standard, with all appliances included.

Each house comprises:
2 BEDROOMS with Airconditioning and: bed, mattress, wardrobe, bedside tables, bed sheets and pillows.
1 Luxurious LIVING ROOM with: sofa, sofa table, sofa chairs, dining table and chairs, TV, DVD player, office table, safe, Wifi internet connection (on request).
1 KITCHEN with full complement of appliances including: oven, burner, fridge, kettle, rice cooker, toaster, pots and pans.
1 ground floor bathroom with bath tub and toilet (towels provided).
1 upper floor bathroom with hot shower, hair dryer and toilet.
1 large upper floor balcony/terrace with lights.
1 covered carport.

All house fittings and appliances are modern and of the topmost quality.
The garden has well laid out and tended plants, and is very pleasing to the eye.
Cool and comfortable living area, with fittings and objet d'art to suit the rich texture of the interior wood fittings.
Natural limestone brick which adds to the beauty of the house. Also, limestone is a great material that endures hot and wet climates by its absorption of the ambient moisture.
Our houses are located a convenient 10 minutes drive from Ao Nang Beach.
Motorbikes or car are available for hire.
